How are you getting these so cheapo when the code is only $100 off of $300?

Sometimes wine.com has different pricing for different states. Not sure if that's what's happening here.

I stacked multiple promos and used cashback sites to get almost 50% off.

I've used the two $100 off codes here. I guess you can make up for low - or negative - margins with volume ;)

This thread is awesome. Loving all of these codes.

Here is something else that can get 50% off of on some nice wines --
1) referral code to wineaccess gives you $50 off of $150 purchase.
http://share.wineaccess.com/v/shay

2) Amex Offers gives back $50 on $200 (go to your amex website/app and hit rewards/offers).

I got a 2016 Pontet Canet for the cellar and a few others through them.

Disclaimer: the above is a referral code that hooks me up as well as giving you $50. Feel free to not use it and hunt for other codes on google or retailmenot or PM me if its not ok for me to post it and I will delete.

Yep. This is true. I have only justified using the code on wines that I have been actively looking for and cannot easily find. With the heavy markups I am seeing the code simply levels the playing field or maybe gives a 5-10% discount at best factoring in shipping.

I have no doubt others are finding better deals than me, but when I couldnt find another deal I liked after 30 minutes of looking (even factoring in the $100 off), I gave up.

There's a lot of heavily marked up bottles for sure. It took a lot of cross-checking with wine-searcher for $100+ bottles that were within $10-20 of good national pricing. Between that and the .97 restriction, it took a while to make my final selections.

Yeah the '08 Cristal is what I specifically went searching for when I saw this thread. Still getting Krug for $30 below WS lowest price is nothing to sneeze at when I was already planning on buying it!

vinfolio has cristal for 220 right now; with some coupons you can probably get it around or below 200. It's just too annoying to ship wines to me from them, so I usually don't bother.

I have a couple that aren’t quite as good :
$20 off of $150 - cheers20
$30 off of $200 - 30fall

I’m also looking for more of the bigger savings ones ($100 off of $300).

FWIW Hart Davis has a 15% off auction. The 2016 Palmer is around $285. A few other bargains.

Is there all you can eat shipping option worth it? Does it preclude using other coupon codes (i.e. is it a code that has to be entered and use up the allotted code?)

You can use the bestdealever code for that. You need to buy the shipping and spend 200 and you get $50 off. I used it with a bunch of less expensive bottles.

Each person's situation is different but for me it seemed like it was worth it. I used the $100 off $300 code when this thread first started to buy 10 half bottles of Sauternes/Barsac at a good price. The shipping was going to be $33 so for another $16 I bought the StewardShip pass with 12 months free shipping including that order. YMMV.

I found it to be a good deal. bought a bunch of 2018 futures that are covered by it which is nice. Also, although their prices are generally a little higher than other online merchants, if you get free shipping it may make up for the extra cost. Then factoring in the frequent 10% off coupons that are almost always available, I find the prices are oftentimes lower than comparables.

Older wines have much higher prices though, I mostly buy younger wines from wine.com.

I would not have used the bestdealever code had I knew there were other $100 off $300 codes coming. That’s a $49 option you can add to any order any time. I have saved more than $49 in shipping already.

It worked for me! I had the benefit of coming late to the party and saw the three other codes first. I paid the $50 for shipping, and then used each of the codes one at a time. Some of the older vintage bottles were excluded from discount on anything but shipping - so you have to shop around. Got some great treats. Thanks everyone, and Happy Thanksgiving!

In your defense, who could have predicted that the “bestdealever” code would not be the best deal ever?

CORRECTION - I used the WINEABR1 the first time and WINEKB1 the second time. I went back and got some Krug and Sauternnes... paid shipping ($20.10) though.

I didn't realize they were different. I used the WINEABR1 the first time and WINEKB1 the second time. My computer even kept the credit card, shipping and other info so when I went to the cart it was ready to input the code and accept.

First box arrived today, with four bottles, exactly the number I ordered. Bad news is that it was four bottles of a wine I never heard of and won’t drink. Check your boxes! Customer service was very very helpful and correct wine should arrive Tuesday.

Re: Chateau Palmer 2016 for $274, what the what?

Thats happened to me before. They shipped me 6 bottles of the wrong rioja, and fixed it the next day. I felt kind of bad since I now had a free 6 bottles, but I suppose it would have costed them more for me to return those bottles than it was worth.

I couldn't believe how fast I got my wine. Two orders in three boxes. All as ordered.

First box arrived today, with four bottles, exactly the number I ordered. Bad news is that it was four bottles of a wine I never heard of and won’t drink. Check your boxes! Customer service was very very helpful and correct wine should arrive Tuesday.
The Saga Part II - FedEx walks up to the door and puts a sticker on the door without bringing the box, declaring on its own that nobody’s home. Only problem was that someone was home....no knock or doorbell, my lovely wife tried to chase them down on the street, but they were clearly not going to deliver the replacement wine today. Not our normal FedEx guy... who is awesome btw. Damn temps

GPL '15 and Pichon Lalande '16 for $209 before tax and shipping. Probably good that was my last available code.

I've shifted the most recent round of shipments to pickup at a local fedex office and so far so good. We're often home during the day, but not reliably enough for it not to be a pain in the rear to have to wait for a delivery. We'll see how I feel after another number of similar deliveries...

vinfolio has cristal for 220 right now; with some coupons you can probably get it around or below 200. It's just too annoying to ship wines to me from them, so I usually don't bother.
Anyone have a good vinfolio coupon?
