Go to Rakuten.com and access wine.com through the them.

The coupons though you enter on the wine.com site.

This is so dangerous. With the $100 off $300, 14% cash back and free shipping, each order is 3x Krug 168 .375 and 1x 2016 Produttori for $183. And there are so many coupons I can continue to use...

Yup. I feel like this might be one of those times we look back on in a few years and sat "remember when we got all those 100/300 coupons from wine.com!?" Who knows how long they'll keep putting these out where they can be used by multiple people.

It’s really (7 x 300 + 3 x 150 + $20 off) times the total number of wine drinkers in the house. So, about $8000 for a family of 4.

Permit me to recommend 2016 Ch. La Prieure, already a good deal at $49.99 and a no-brainer with the coupons

Had to do some Lioco Sonoma Chardonnay which amounts to 13.30 per. Nice price on a good wine.

Ah what to do... looking to get 2 bottles of Monte Bello 2016...math says to do two separate coupons. But I have used 2 already. Not sure I want to spend $600 more... $360 for 2 plus 14% from Rakuten is still a pretty good deal right?

Matt

I did the MB with Napanook as a good combo right around $300. Keep in mind the 2016 MB probably needs 20 years to be ready.

So glad you mentiond the Rakuten 14% rebate. Just found 2 of the above coupon codes I hadn't used, and picked up some CVNE Imperial Gran Reserva mags and some Sandeman port for awesome prices.

How exactly do you get your money from Rakuten? I just signed up a couple weeks ago and this is my first "through rakuten" purchase.

I was hoarding all of the $100 off $300 codes hoping for Rakuten to bump up their cash back percentage before they expired. The gamble paid off! I just placed seven orders.
That’s awesome. I used about 4 previous 100 until I saw the Rakuten deal and used one more. Should have done another. Not sure how many I have left. How long does Rakuten take to have the money show in your account because my purchase still does not reflect any cash back? I general I don’t trust these sites.

14% is gone btw

I had one show up a couple days ago and one didn’t, the site says 24hrs for wine.com. When I put the info in the “Where’s my money” link they credited it instantly. I was impressed with that, they said here’s your money we will research it later essentially.

Just note that there are situations when the merchant, affiliate network, or cash back / rewards site may not honor the cash back that one thought they were going to get. That can happen because items purchased were not eligible, some coupon codes can invalidate the cash back, or cookies didn't track properly because of ad blockers / browsers etc. Additionally for some merchants there are clauses like in store pickup invalidates rewards. There is definitely some variability in this, so if there is a deal you like but it doesn't work without the cash back, be prepared for some disappointments.

Rakuten is one of the better ones, in my observations though.

Lesson learned. This year's plan: Buy nothing till all the 100/300 coupon codes come out, then wait until Feb 14 in hopes of another 14% off Rakuten day...

Good point, because it does seem too good to be true that wine.com would give an effectively 33% off the list price coupon AND then give Rakuten another 14% of the sales price for an additional savings to us.
Has anybody actually received the Rakuten 14% cash back when using these wine.com 100/300 or 50/150 coupons?
Just curious.

They haven’t posted yet but I’ve gotten it when there’s been 10% cash back. I get it in MR points so it’s been good. Sometimes it’s ridiculous; I bought my wife a present from Saks when they had
15% cash back and it was like 30k MR points.

Thanks for sharing the tips. I enrolled yesterday and already have the two transactions from yesterday posted. From what I can see the 14% is based on (Total Billed - Tax - S&H). For my orders the S&H is aleady taken out in the Total Billed but I will not argue...

Further nuance - just because credits post to your account doesn't mean you'll actually get them in the end. Rakuten/ebates only pay out every quarter, and they can go back and claw them back if - for some reason - some part of the process decides you're not actually entitled to them. Some networks pay out once thresholds are reached like X$ or something, which is a different model.

I hope we all get the credits, but I haven't hit this that hard*, because I'm circumspect of whether these will truly post/pay, and it will take some months to discover that. Perhaps others who've been guzzling at the wine.com well for longer can opine on that, but it wouldn't really be in their interest to share that info (at least publicly/searchable).

* and also because I'm an AA minor leaguer compared to the big spending sluggers here!

SWEET, THANKS.

Just ordered some 2016 Chave Hermitage and 2016 Produttori.

I assume the code can only be used once? Is there another $100 code out there? Some more stuff that I’d like to snag.

Cheers.

Double-whammy. Found another code, WKMP26, plus Billecart-Salmon Rouge on sale at $79. Bought for a net price per bottle of $55. Wow. And free shipping.

I think that WKMP26 will work with other numbers, try 21-25.
Try WABRCT(1-3)

There are a bunch more 50/150 in the other topic:

Bit on another $100/$300:

2016 Lynch Bages
2016 Grand Puy Lacoste
Bedrock OVZ

$218 shipped.

Thinking about a variety pack for another one, some Produttori, Castello Monsanto Riserva, Billecart 375s, Ardanza...

Snagged two 2015 Palmer at 249.99 and was going for a third before they disappeared, maybe still available in other states!
