2017 Selbach-Oster Zeltinger Schlossberg Riesling Auslese 'Schmitt' - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (10/31/2019)
Incredible power, depth and complexity from such a young wine. Nothing heavy here, it floats across the palate while still leaving an impression. Balance is impossibly perfect, and the finish goes on for what feels like hours. Glad to have a bunch of this, as it's a monumental success with decades of life to come.

Feel like Selbach Pradikats really nailed 2017.

Thanks for the note, will have to pick some up. Love S-O as a producer, great consistency across the range, and Johannes is just a really nice guy in general.

Despite the difficulties of 2018 they nailed those as well.
