Finally starting to feel like fall here, got me craving some Produttori.

2004 Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Moccagatta - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco (10/20/2019)
Decanted 30mins. Beautiful perfumed nose that shows cherry, florals, and earthy-sandalwood notes in the background. Still a bit of tannin in the back, but a roast chicken and duck fat potatoes brought out rocky cherry and elegant, medium weight presence. Still fairly firm, yet it is a pretty wine, with some years to go. A wine meant to savor over a good meal with good friends.
