The name Heerkretz describes a steep volcanic cliff in the south of Siefersheim. The whole site is extremely fissured and gashed, with many deposits of boulders and coarse gravel, with many quarries, dips and exposed sloping sections exposed to cold breezes.

    1. 2017 Wagner-Stempel Riesling trocken EMT Auction (a very serious wine which I would love to take another crack at in 2029, what a powerhouse!)
  1. 2014 Wagner-Stempel Siefersheimer Heerkretz Riesling Großes Gewächs (now even better to drink than the 2017 Heerkretz)
  2. 2017 Wagner-Stempel Siefersheimer Heerkretz Riesling Großes Gewächs (probably the better wine of the two in the future!)
  3. 2010 Wagner-Stempel Siefersheimer Heerkretz Riesling Auslese (love my Riesling with some residual sugar and great for the afterthoughts)
  4. 2007 Wagner-Stempel Siefersheimer Heerkretz Riesling Großes Gewächs (fatty and round, definitely a different style than Daniel Wagner makes nowadays)
