Yesterday the VDP presented their 2018 GGs and besides the usual suspects one estate impressed me the most at this event, the estate KNEBEL from the Mosel region. The estate is a new member of the VDP. I know the young winemaker Matthias Knebel and his wines since 2012. His first GGs 2018 Röttgen and 2018 Uhlen (Laubach) showed character, spiciness and greatness. I strongly recommend to try the GGs and the other wines from the estate.
