  • 2012 Domaine Jean Chartron Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Cailleret - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru (9/1/2019)
    A great nose of spearmint, honeysuckle, flint, aniseed and white peach. It is a full and ripe wine, but there is so much chalky minerality and great precision for the year. It is layered with flavour, unctuous and finishes with decent cut and outstanding length.

Nice to hear. I stopped buying this domaine when a case of this from the 1996 vintage was horribly premoxed after a couple years.
