Can’t vouch for everything in the article, but an interesting read.
Yea I read that as well Alan. While some of the article was unclear, the overall connection between color and structure was one I hadn’t read about before. Interesting stuff, and like many elements of wine: complex, partially (at best) understood, and challenging to act on by any but most expert hands.
The article comes across as a mish-mash of supposed cause and effect that I could not untangle. Would love to see a more rigorous scientific treatment but that seems way too complicated for a short lay article.
