2011 Dönnhoff Riesling - Germany, Nahe (8/30/2019)
Directly in its drinking window, this is elegant, only slightly sweet, and has an ethereal palate presence. Where it surprises it the finish, as long hidden acidity brings a jolt of brightness and freshness, cleaning everything up, and creating thirst for the next sip. This should be great drinking at the dinner table for the next several years.
