Insulated 2-3 bottle wine bags

Any brand recommendations? I don’t need extras included like wine glasses, picnic supplies, etc. If a small blue ice cube can be inserted into the bag, that would be a real plus. I see a bunch on Amazon in the $teens-40 range.

Thanks! [cheers.gif]

We have one we use for champagne. The sides are actually quilted little cool packs. Throw it in the freezer for a few hours before use, slip the bottle(s) in and zip it shuts. Works GREAT. The one we have is a single bottle size (but easily big enough for huge ass champers bottles) and I suspect you could find one that will hold more than one bottle. I’ll look to see if I can find a brand name (or ask my wife where she got it).

I have this one, in black (which I don’t see on Amazon at the moment). Holds 3 bottles, but with 2 there’s plenty of room for an ice brick:

This is the one we have

I got the Vina bag that Alan suggested, but the 2 bottle one. Reason being that the 3 bottle one is 11.5 inches tall, 2 bottle is 13 inches. Standard Riesling bottles are 13 inches tall.

built is the brand i use
pretty indestructible and the bags on amazon for half the price are half the quality

For some reason the built bag I linked above isn’t showing up here (for me anyway). This is the description on Amazon:

Built 5178239 NY IceTec Freezable Wine and Champagne Chiller Bag, Plum Dot

I looked at that one. It’s only a 1 bottle carrier so I passed on it.

It’s actually 12, but then the lid has another inch of head space, so it does work OK for Riesling bottles (except the really tall ones, like Nikolaihoff, or Donnhoff GG, etc.)

I’ve been using the 2 and 3 bottle neoprene wine bags from WineEnthusiast for years. They come with 2 freezable gel packs, one for each side. Since I have several, I sometimes double up the gel packs if I am traveling farher, and can even put one up near the necks. There is also a exterior pocket for your corkscrew and notepad. They work well, hold hold most bottle sizes (they sit all the way down, unlike the pic) and are durable. Seem to be on sale now.
