    Day 1: Light/fruit forward style. Cherry, plum, mild oak, vanilla and wafer. Short to medium finish. Lacks acidity but drinkable. 84 points
    Day 2: Better on day 2. Smoke, cherry, plum, oak and earth. Much better and this needs some cellaring. 87 points.
    Day 3: For a wine under $7 can’t beat it. Juicy fruit and nice smoky flavor. Medium finish. 87 points
    Recommendation: Buy! (87 pts.)

I have always found that it is hard to beat Chateau Ste. Michelle/Columbia Crest for inexpensive quaffers.
