NV Bodegas Faustino González Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Fino en rama Cruz Vieja - Spain, Andalucía, Jerez-Xérès-Sherry (6/13/2019)
-- popped and poured --
-- tasted non-blind over a couple hours --
-- Lot 17310 (presumably, this means it was bottled in November of 2017) --

NOSE: rich; slightly honeyed Fino aromatics; light apple scent.

BODY: darker than normal for a Fino (likely from the fact it's bottled unfiltered); medium-light bodied.

TASTE: salty; pronounced bloomy rind cheese note --- camembert; quite pleasant, but pretty straightforward; honestly, one could do nearly as good while spending only half as much. To be fair, this bottle should have been consumed much closer to its bottling date.
