Tasting notes, varietals, grapes - anything related to wine

TN: 1999 Huet Clos du Bourg Vouvray Sec. Long in the cellar, I don’t regret the delay, though I might have liked it a tad better 7 or 8 years ago. Maybe not. OK, so, sec means sec at this age! Nose of reticent honeysuckle and sort of those yellow wax beans. A touch grassy. There is that waxy/ lanolin note, from the entry to finish, but its very much in the background at this stage. Not a wine for everyone, and many would rate this lower, but I really dig. 91 points.
