Coche Dury Meursault "Cote de Beaune"

What the hell is this??? [scratch.gif]

Not nearly as weird as this guy’s Coche Dury Corton Charlemagne “red burgundy wine”

It’s Coche’s Meursault rouge. Super small plot similar in size to Coche’s Meursault Chevalieres holdings (so on the smaller end of the range). It’s tasty too…

Meursault Cote de Baune is for red wine only - either from a Village Meursault plot with red vines or a declassified Premier Cru (red), for instance from young vines or lower qualiy.

It is Coche’s red wine from villages level plot in Meursault. The family has made it forever and it is very, very good juice and ages surprisingly well. Drank the 1989 a few years back while in Burgundy.
