Seems like they are at two ends of the spectrum, both brilliant and yet so different. Taittinger is light bodied, incredibly fragrant and has a delightfully long finish. Equally long finish with the Krug, but richer, more brioche, and more palate presence.
We made the mistake yesterday of beginning with the Krug MV, and it took a few minutes for our palates to adjust to the 2006 Taittinger. Interesting to compare the two.
