2006 Cavallotto Barolo Bricco Boschis - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo (8/10/2019)
Very youthful and tight at first, emitting a faint whiff of hazelnut, red fruits, dried flowers and cedar. With air it concentrates at its heart and gains flesh. Cherry fruits are so pure and pristine. It has some earth and cedar and great depth and drive. Structural elements are still substantial but the wine’s great balance allows one to derive some pleasure at this early stage.
