Nice article from the Wine Enthusiast website, highlighting the wine scene in Oakland. Although the article only mentioned a few of the many fine restaurants here with great wine lists, and left out some of the city’s urban wineries and wine bars (they did include a favorite winery, Prima Materia), they covered most of my favorite wine shops - Ordinaire, minimo, Oakland Yard, and Paul Marcus, though Bay Grape and Wines on Piedmont both deserve note too (Bay Grape did get a mention through the owners’ new restaurant, Mama Oakland). Overall a good overview of the growing wine scene here in Oaktown.
