TN: 1995 Val di Suga (Angelini) Brunello di Montalcino

In a really nice place. Aromas of tobacco, leather, smoked meats and cherry. Mid-weight in the mouth, nice composure and balance. Crunchy red fruits and earthy nuance. Still some tannic chew and good persistence.

Love their wines. Sadly very hard to get in Texas these days.

That’s a blast from the past Jeremy. Reckon I bought a couple of these from a later vintage, consumed a couple of years ago. Was very good also.

A 1998 I had less than month ago was pleasing in many ways.
