Grape trends

#1 Post by Adam Frisch » August 4th, 2019, 12:45 am

Seems like Zin is down and has been for awhile. One of the growers I buy from can't get rid of his and is asking me if I want some.
Seems like Syrah keeps chugging along for the initiated, but still not connecting with the broader public.
Seems like we're peak Pinot and an adjustment in growing is probably due.

Are these correct observations? What other trends are you seeing/foreseeing? Sorry if this has been asked here before, but newhere
Sabelli-Frisch Wines

Owner, proprietor and winemaker (with a little help) at Sabelli-Frisch Wines. I make wine from low-impact vineyards, focus on rare, forgotten, under-appreciated or historic grape varietals. Mission grape is my main red focus. IG: sabellifrisch
