A tertiary nose of black truffle, earth, smoke, decaying leaves and pine needle sap. It is fine, lacy and elegant in the mouth. It feels relatively compact and has a sweet vinous core. It is unctuous in an almost oyster kind of way and has saline minerality to the finish. It is cut with lively acidity.
