- 1972 Charles Noellat Nuits St. Georges Les Lavières - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges (8/2/2019)
A tertiary nose of black truffle, earth, smoke, decaying leaves and pine needle sap. It is fine, lacy and elegant in the mouth. It feels relatively compact and has a sweet vinous core. It is unctuous in an almost oyster kind of way and has saline minerality to the finish. It is cut with lively acidity.
