Been checking in on some lesser '05s lately.

Healthy dark red color. Beginning to unravel some of the tertiary scents of forest and wet earth. Good concentration of fruit here. Youthful reddish fruit. But it lacks some charm, now and probably forever. It's ready, and it's good, and better with food. It has some layers that will prob hold for some time, just not a very compelling package overall.
