    What a delight this was. I was all set to buy the Felsina CC for an impromptu pizza wine, and noticed a strong pitch on the price tag from the wine steward, and this was $7 cheaper. Glad I did. Textbook, and I mean text book Chianti Classico here, the perfect hue of sour cherry fruit that both salivates and refreshes the palate and a tiny bit of leather as well. Bright and energetic from end to end, buy this by the case. (91 pts.)
