What is your recent auction purchase?

It would be nice to see if a Berserker had snagged a wine I was courting, or simply what people are buying on the auction market.

My latest auction wins:

2001 Vilmart Cru Coeur de Cuvée; one bottle on WineBid
NV Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle; an older bottle from Spectrum

Cheers,

Warren

Few bottles of Saxum.

A few from Spectrum:

2 x 1997 Beaulieu Vineyard Tapestry Reserve
1 x 2014 Domaine Chandon de Briailles Corton-Clos du Roi
1 x 2014 Domaine Chandon de Briailles Corton-Bressandes
1 magnum x 2014 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes
1 x 1990 Bollinger Champagne La Grande Année
12 x NV Pierre Moncuit Champagne Cuvée Hugues de Coulmet Blanc de Blancs Brut

I usually post my auction wins in the Most Recent Purchase thread.

I was tracking that 2001 Vilmart and probably would have bid if the price had gone down again. Enjoy!

I would never confess to being a sniper… [wow.gif] [whistle.gif]

2014 Myriad Georges III

2013 Burlotto Monvigliero (HDH). Had a 2015 in Italy and it was superb. Looking forward to the ‘13s.

1983 d’Yquem
2001 Jim Barry Armagh
Assortment of Port 375s: '77 Dow, '83 Dow, '85 Graham, '94 Warre

I was a low bidder on this.

On Winebid, I picked up 1993 Faiveley Les Saint George, I think $85 all in (w/ tax/commissions)

2012 Domaine Brusset Gigondas Les Hauts de Montmirail
2009 Domaine Saint-Damien Gigondas Vieilles Vignes
2016 Famille Brechet Domaine Des Bosquets Gigondas La Colline
2010 Xavier Vignon Gigondas

Copain Kiser en Haut, $25

Wow, what vintage? How much all in?

WT

  1. 15% or so WineBid buyers fee plus tax.

Magnum of 2014 Monte Bello (birth year wine for grand-nephew)

I definitely see a couple things on here that got snagged from under me at WineBid . I’m looking at you ‘90 Dauvissat Clos and ‘93 Faiveley Les St Georges. Enjoy them! [cheers.gif]

I got the '11 Kiser En Haut a few months for $20 hammer price on Winebid. Pretty nice bottle, love that vintage in CA.

Also picked up some El Molino Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for $25 and $35 respectively. Vacceli Granite Blanc and Rouge for $20 each. A few Zidarich for $10 and $15. Yes I"m mostly a bottom feeder.

Lately been laying off, have at it people!

Bought up 6 of the 2007 Copain Clos Pepe Pinots a little while back. Not sure why but a few months ago at least a dozen cases of older Copain landed on WineBid, maybe closer to two dozen. The CP is drinking really nicely right now, shame that vineyard can only be found in an $80 Walt Pinot starting with the ‘18 vintage…
