I couldn’t wait to pop one. Tough to evaluate at this early stage, but this tastes like a Julian Haart Kabi, which is high praise. Maybe a hint more alcohol than the ‘17, but otherwise nothing to suggest that this is from a solar vintage. It’s not too heavy and it has all the raciness and verve that you’d expect from Julian’s wines. Just the right amount of sweetness in the palate. Happy to have this and excited to see where it goes.
