Among the varietals allowed, Touriga Nacional and Alvarinho for the white. Although limited at this time to Bordeaux Supérieur I would not be surprised to see it crossover to all the premium bordeaux at some point.
This feels like the legal version of when the French imported red wines from Algeria to boost watery wines.
