TN: 2011 Bruno Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumées

  • 2011 Bruno Colin Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumées - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru (7/2/2019)
Drinking wonderfully well. There’ some smoky mineral reduction to the nose along with white peach and something gently tropical. It is fine yet full, with layers of flavour and a cool floral note playing gently in the background. It finishes with good cut and has real persistence.

sounds really good, a producer I don’t know and rarely see.

I have been happy with the wines from Bruno Colin. Makes a wonderful Chevalier-Montrachet.

I have a b of his 12 waiting for the next Cornwell dinner.

Good wines, have had a few over the years that have shown very well.
