TN: Louis Michel Forêts 2010

Just gorgeous clean vibrant Chablis, not a lot of minerality, but very pretty fruit, lots of lift and freshness, layered texture. Lots of room to grow with this version and vintage, a very refreshing drink. I haven’t found Michel’s unoaked wines to be headturners but this one is.

Michel’s 2010s have been drinking beautifully for some time now, and they are in a very nice spot now. Of a finished case of 2010 Montee de Tonnere the last few bottles were the best.

Alan, we drank '14 on Thursday. That searing acidity is just now beginning to recede so more fruit can show. I love this wine.
