Thank the lord! My old one is completely worn out, it’s down to a nub-about the size of an oyster knife 
Seems overpriced. This past April my brother-in-law presented me with THREE Laguiole sabers as I apparently requested them. I noted at the time Amazon had them for $50.00 apiece. It’s going to take a bit of work to wear down the one I kept.
