Has anyone ever done business with Mr. D Wine Merchant?

I tried to. He had 06 Dom and a very good price. I was in Florida different coast from him with 1 day transit ordered on Wednesday and they shipped on a hot Friday. Clueless. I cancelled the order. I would stay away.
Yes but only for local pickup. Took a few days to get the order ready.
I think its a side project for a restaurant.
I’ve purchased from them a few times without any issues. The communication and wine selection are both good, as are the prices. If shipping during the hotter months is an issue, I’m pretty sure they’ll hold your wine for you until temps cool. Just reach out to them and make the request and I’m sure they’ll accommodate.
This retailer pops up on Wine-Searcher every so often advertising good prices. I recommend not falling for the bait, they are absolutely horrible to deal with. Completely uncommunicative, promising they have wine in stock that they don’t actually have. Had to file multiple disputes with American Express to get my money back because this store refused to refund to my card.
Avoid at all costs.
