I have my own thoughts on what to order, but would be interested in what others think. What jumps out at you basically.
We will be dining at this place in about one months time, so there is no guarantee that (a) wine list is up to date or (b) the chosen wines will be available when we get there.
Assume a strict EUR 400 per bottle limit. My preferences are for more mature wines and both Germany and France are of interest. One white and one red.
I’d be tempted to go with sparkling for the white: Egly-Ouriet 2004 or Selosse Initial. Or maybe a Roulot from '11 or '14, or the 2014 Vernay Coteau du Vernon.
