Supreme Court Wine Shipping - any update?

#1 Post by Sc0tt F!tzger@ld » June 12th, 2019, 4:54 am

I haven’t seen anything recently on this case. Anyone have an update on next steps / timing? Anxiously awaiting in Texas...

Decision has not yet been announced. Max wait time is another 2 weeks (give or take a day).

June 17 or June 24, according to this.

Usually, I am all about states' rights but I am going to make an exception here. States' rights < Wine rights

Specs and Total Wines dominates the market here in Texas...I am tired of it.

I won't digress into the idea of states "rights" (vs. powers) but, it's notable in this case that the state itself is not defending its own law.
