2016 Goodfellow Family Cellars Pinot Noir Heritage No. 8 Durant Vineyard - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (5/14/2019)
Interesting aromatics that combine floral, fruit, earth, and also a bit of funk. Light to medium weight, it’s quite fruit forward. Structural tannins creep in on the mid-palate, and add a level of austerity to the finish. The fruit level seems to be in line with the tannins, so it makes sense to bury this one for a few years.

Thanks for taking one for the team... I have not tasted the #8 yet. All mine are buried deep in the cellar and this confirms I will not touch them for a long time.
