Heard that they were starting their box set release tomorrow. Anyone have more information?

Hate to say it, any doubts about smoke damage ? they do get grapes from areas that were hit

Early CT reviews are as strong as most years.

Box sets are usually one of each of the expensive cabs in a box set.

Will be one of the 17s I buy a lot of.

Just spoke with Dan at Carter. He said there was some impact on their fruit, but it did not make it into the wine that will be bottled. So, probably fewer bottle production this year. I was calling to see if I could taste some on my visit to Napa on Friday and see how they fared. He said, though the box sets are released for sale tomorrow… the wines won’t be bottles and available to try until the end of May. I will head up then and give them a try. Hopefully along with some Myriad and Quivet.

Have an appointment to taste in Mid June. Will be making my decision as to what to buy then based upon tasting and whats available

very much looking forward to your thoughts. Carters are consistently among my top line Napa bottlings and I’m curious what to go for in 2017 as well.
