2013 Sine Qua Non Syrah

Decanted for about an hour, this wine is seamless. Strong hint of black pepper on the nose, silky and ripe blackberry dominates the palate with notes of pepper and a touch of sweet allspice. Just enough acidity to keep this from being over the top. Not as complex as other SQN syrahs but still a fun, very pleasurable wine to enjoy. (94 pts.)
