TN: 2012 Williams-Selyem Pinot Noir Ferrington

Popped and poured and let it catch some air in the glass for about 30 minutes. Color was a real pretty ruby - almost translucent. Nose was a knockout of leathery strawberry and spice. Medium bodied, very deep and complex tastes of strawberry rhubarb (for me, an AV marker for sure) and earth. The finish starts with a slightly tart cranberry note and ends with juicy acidity. At first I thought I noticed some really fine tannin sneak in at the end, but the acidity seemed to cover it up as time went on. This bottle was in a very good place. Cheers!

Nice note!

Now I want a glass!
