TN: NV Caves des Hautes-Cotes Crémant de Bourgogne Victorine de Chastenay (great QPR)

NV Caves des Hautes-Cotes Crémant de Bourgogne Victorine de Chastenay - France, Burgundy, Crémant de Bourgogne (4/20/2019)
Fresh, clean, apple and citrus fruit, with a nice mouthfeel, this is an excellent value in sparkling wine. The $16 price tag beats out pretty much anything in the range, and things that cost more. No idea if it would age at all, but who cares. Buy, drink, repeat.

Cool note David. As much as I love Champagne it was tough for me to drink frequently in New Orleans, as most of the basic NV was $40 a bottle.

I turned to Cali sparklers as a result, and while nice enough they just weren’t that interesting. This sounds like something I would have greatly enjoyed.

We were discussing what else we like in the same price range. This is a few $$ cheaper than Roederer Estate, and I liked the Cremant more.
