    Delivers an immediate impact of fresh papaya and ripe pears; perhaps a touch of youthful chubbiness as the sweetness imparts a light honeyed quality. Snaps up quickly on the back half has the palate weight is as light as vapor, but with a great wake of Mosel Slatey-ness. I’d give this a few years to settle in, but a terrific Spatlese nonetheless. Shocker I know. (93 pts.)

Love this riesling. Letting my 2016s and 2017s rest.

This wine has exceptional palate coverage from the start! Other 2016s, I’m waiting for the mid palate to fill in with some age.
