TN: 02 Bruno Clair Chambertin Clos de Beze

really good bottle with lovely texture like silk, ripe cherry fruit, very griotte, layered and complex, soft round tannins in background. In a good place but young. An underrated producer of Beze and Bonnes Mares, among other wines.

Helpful note; thanks. IMO, there are few ppl making better wines right now than Bruno Clair. An '02 BC Gevrey ‘Cazetiers’ – a favorite bottling (and vineyard) of mine – was phenomenal a few weeks back (WOTN among very stiff competition, including some C. Liger-Belair).
