Anyone try Onx Reckoning 2015?

The guys at the table next to me were drinking this (one of them is with the winery) and I swapped my 1990 de Montille Volnay Taillepieds. The Onx was a perfectly balanced wine.

We sold some Onx reds at the shop I used to work at, as well as several other Paso area gems with tasting rooms at Tin City. I recall the name Reckoning but the current label looks different. What I’ve tasted would have been ‘11s or ‘12s. I’d agree with your assessment in general.

Just a glass, I hope.

Less. It was at gentle peak with a stamp on the label from La Tour d’Argent.

Phew! It sounded like you swapped bottles, which would have been a poor trade, I imagine.

I tasted this with Jeff last May during my two weeks down that way. 54% Syrah, 18% Petite Sirah, 18% Zinfandel, 10% Grenache. It tied for my favorite out of the wines he presented.
