Decanted for about an hour. Vibrant red coloring. It smells great: cherry and floral, very spring like fragrance. Hints of fennel. Initial taste shows a delicate palate presence. It is still rather tight, but it has great texture. With air you get more cherry, and rose, and tar. Finish goes on and on. Tasty with my spaghetti and meatballs ala Kenji. It seems to harden a bit with additional air. Seems like a few more years for ideal pleasure, but still quite nice now.

I love that producer. Great red fruited elegance within the Brunello spectrum. Lovely place to visit as well.

I’m going in a couple months, so I’m glad to hear that! [cheers.gif]

Thanks Dennis. Will try to stay away from mine for a few more years.

If your dance card isn’t full, I highly recommend Uccelliera and Lisini as other visits, for high quality wine and a non-touristy non-corporate experience.
