TN: 2012 Cecile Tremblay Nuits St. Georges Albuca

  • 2012 Cecile Tremblay Nuits St. Georges Albuca - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges (4/3/2019)
Reserved, cool, deep and penetrating. Has plenty of floral spice, cherry fruit and cherry stone minerality. There’s a hint of smoked meats and texture is silky. It has impeccable balance and proportion and is a joy to drink.

never seen that vineyard. Nice find. Hopefully the tariff wasn’t bad—her aftermarket pricing is crazy.

Sounds like it got you all Tremblay. (Think we used that one before.)

Alan is right, the prices in the secondary market are absurd, but she is talented, and I do enjoy her wines.

Did not know she made a Nuits either

The Nuits does not come to the USA :frowning:

Fortunately the Aussie Importer is an excellent bloke, and rewards long-term supporters with a decent allocation. I have been buying from the early days.
