TN: Chartogne-Taillet Fiacre Tête de Cuvée 2002

disgorged in 2010, this is a super Champagne with great density and nice lift. Toast on the nose but no oxidation, the yellow apple and lemon fruit is clean and complex, the length and balance superb. I really like this wine.

Sounds great and thanks for the reminder that some of this is somewhere in the cellar.

Although I love the new wines CT is making, it's sad they've stopped making the Fiacre.

I’ve had six bottles of this and was underwhelmed. I got more of the house oxidative notes than you did.
