TN: 2002 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Canary Hill

  • 2002 Ken Wright Pinot Noir Canary Hill - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (3/29/2019)
Medium dark color. Clear rim. Smoky black fruit with baking spices first greet the nose. Ripe and viscous on entry with mostly black fruit flavors highlighted with spice and sweet herbs. Big, ripe and powerful, this wine is balanced and “spot on” for the vintage. Good acidity and well absorbed tannins lead to a long and serious finish. 92 pts. Drink now through 2022. (92 pts.)

Always liked this wine and have not had the 2002 in 13 years. Glad it is still hanging in! [cheers.gif]
