Nose of raspberry, cranberry, stewed red fruit and licorice, slight spice/cinnamon. Taste confirmed red fruit, pepper, leather, sharp, acidic. Fantastic and approachable high ABV dark purple zin. A great showcase of what cali zin is. High alcohol hangs on a little long in the finish, but stylistically can make for some fantastic BBQ or a heavy sauce paring.
