  Mature, rose petal nose, medium bodied, cherries and strawberry, tannins well integrated, very long and satisfying finish. Great bottle of wine.

they get an unfair rap for being overoaked. Never intrusive in an aged bottle. We used to pound a stash of the 78 Beze and BM bought on the cheap. Those were great times. $100/bottle in the late 90s.

That always drove me nuts on the Parker Board. There were a few voices that repeated that mantra over and over despite having little to no demonstrable firsthand experience with the wines.
