TN: 2016 Clos de la Roilette Cuvée Tardive

This was beautiful with baking spices and cranberries on the nose and pure fruit on the palate. It was supremely drinkable and light bodied. Interestingly, my wife didn’t care for it at all.

Agreed. I’ve had two bottles out of 375 over last two months. Delicious.

Where did you get those? I have never seen a 375 mL and I’ve been drinking that wine for 20 years. Learn something new every day.

I had a 2013 recently that, while young, was quite enjoyable at the table much more so than a 2010 last May that was still pretty shut down when I had it.

Crush.

I know, wish I could buy tons of this in 375.

Thanks.

Just checked. They have it in stock.

I love this one too, as well as the “Marquis”, but don’t have the experience you guys do. What is your general drinking window? I have never been moved by an “aged bojo” (10+ years); on the other hand, not long ago I thought the 2014 Tardive was really young.

Regarding formats, I am constantly tempted by my Tardive mags from recent vintages, but so far have laid off.

Robert, I’ve never ordered from crush before. I see the page with the 375s. Do you just email and request pricing and quantity?
