gorgeous honeyed lemon drops, thick and layered on the palate, so balanced and still racy, minerals and citrus, just a beautiful Chablis caught at a perfect moment. Bouquet and palate are aligned and wonderfully effusive, grand cru level for this premier cru wine. Makes my temperature rise–gives me the Fevre.
Have to admit, an '01 Montmains half a dozen years ago (Fevre) turned me to the chablis side. Unfortunately, I’ve had a number of premox from Fevre also to temper my enthusiasm.
