TN: 2011 Domaine Harmand-Geoffroy Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux St. Jacques

Bertrand Dugat told me to check out their wines a few years ago, and I wasn’t disappointed. Seems like they’re on a very positive trajectory. Great holdings, too.

I liked the 08 mazis; stocked up quite a few of their 15s

I recently got to taste most of the 2015s, and my employer is now selling some, so I might be biased. I thought the quality was high across the board. Highlights for me were the very good Gevrey 1er Bossiere, the outstanding Gevrey 1er Lavaux St. Jacques, and a closed monster of a Mazis-Chambertin that I think should be quite good.
