Jadot Beze Vertical

I have been saving a Jadot Beze vertical for some time now. Thinking of opening it this year.
85-04 missing 89 91 92 94
Should I Hold? Should I Pour?
It is interesting because I understand Jadot purchased the vineyard in 1985.

Sounds awesome! Please post photos & thoughts on the wines! Thanks for sharing.

It was a lease from when they acquired Clair-Dau - ended in 2005 and the “contract” went back to Domaine Bruno Clair.

Interesting tasting for sure, what order to you plan to serve them in?,

Sounds very interesting.
I would at least try to source 89, 91 in addition, if not 92 …

If I remember the timing correctly the 1985 would have been made by Clair Dau but bottled by Jadot. It should be fantastic.

I would wait a few more years, mainly for the 1999 and 2002 which I would expect to need them but should be a great experience even if you open them now.

I’d do it! Sounds like an excellent tasting. Some will be in the sweet spot. Some too young. But now is as good a time as ever. I’m particularly partial to the ‘98.

Jay, I’ll try to get a firm answer on that this weekend. I’ll be with some people who will know.

Yes, that’s correct, it came to Jadot cellars in 1986.

Half of vineyard was purchased the other half was leased so only half went back.

Still holding on to the vertical. Trying to source a few of the missing vintages.

You’re right, 1999 and 2002 need more time.

1989 is worth tracking down if you want to supplement the line up.
